Terms of Service

Last updated: September 2026

These terms govern your use of the SUVAIRA website, our culinary services and our digital Master Guides. SUVAIRA is a sole proprietorship owned and operated by Karthik Sharan Balasubramanian.

Who we are

SUVAIRA is a sole proprietorship owned and operated by Karthik Sharan Balasubramanian.

SUVAIRA operates from Ontario, Canada, and works remotely with customers in Canada and internationally.

General enquiries: hello@suvaira.com. Orders, payment and consultation booking: order@suvaira.com. Guide and download support: help@suvaira.com. Refund requests: refund@suvaira.com.

About our services

SUVAIRA provides remote culinary expertise to food businesses and sells digital Master Guides. Services are delivered remotely, primarily over video call.

SUVAIRA is not a chef marketplace, a staffing or employment agency, a restaurant, or a provider of medical, dietary or nutritional advice. We review each requirement and assign a culinary specialist we consider suited to it.

Project review

Submitting a requirement and having it reviewed is free. You are not charged for describing a culinary problem, for our review of it, or for our assessment of whether it is suitable for remote support.

Submitting a requirement does not create a contract. A project begins only once scope and price are agreed.

1:1 Culinary Consultation

A consultation is 1 Zoom consultation session with a culinary specialist assigned by SUVAIRA according to your requirement. Payment is taken in full at the time of booking.

The launch price of CA$99.99 applies to the first 25 paid consultation bookings. After that allocation, the regular price of CA$149.99 applies. The price shown at checkout is the price that applies to your booking.

Includes up to 3 follow-up questions within 15 calendar days relating to the same culinary issue discussed during your consultation.

Follow-up is limited support, not an open channel. It does not include unlimited messaging, unrelated culinary questions, a new dish or recipe-development project, a separate problem, or a further consultation session.

Who conducts your consultation

SUVAIRA selects the specialist. Paying for a consultation does not entitle you to a particular named individual unless SUVAIRA has expressly confirmed that specialist for your booking in writing.

If we cannot staff your requirement appropriately, we will tell you and offer a rescheduled session or a full refund.

Consultation rescheduling and cancellation

Cancellation and rescheduling requests should be sent to order@suvaira.com.

Nothing in this section removes or reduces mandatory consumer rights that may apply to you under the law of your own jurisdiction.

  • One reschedule is permitted when requested at least 24 hours before the scheduled consultation session.
  • A customer who cancels at least 24 hours before the scheduled consultation is eligible for a full refund.
  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled consultation are non-refundable, subject to any mandatory consumer rights that may apply.
  • Failure to attend the scheduled consultation without prior cancellation is non-refundable, subject to applicable law.
  • If SUVAIRA is unable to conduct the scheduled consultation, the customer may choose either a rescheduled session or a full refund.

Project scope

Project work is quoted individually. Scope, deliverables, price, payment schedule, any revisions and timing are agreed in a separate quotation, proposal or project agreement before work begins, and that agreement governs the project.

Deliverables vary by project and are not guaranteed to include any particular output unless expressly agreed. We may decline a requirement, including where we consider it unsuitable for remote delivery or outside the expertise available in our network.

Digital Master Guides — what you are buying

Master Guides are digital products delivered as PDF downloads. There is no physical item and nothing is shipped.

All prices are one-time payments. There is no subscription, no recurring billing and no automatic renewal.

Guides are educational and informational culinary material. They are not professional food-safety, regulatory, dietary or business advice.

Digital Master Guides — licence

Purchasing a Master Guide grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it. Downloading a Guide does not transfer ownership or any intellectual property rights, which remain with SUVAIRA.

  • You may read, print and use the guide for your own cooking or within your own business
  • You may not resell, redistribute, republish, sublicense or share the guide or its files
  • You may not upload the guide to any file-sharing, subscription or public platform
  • You may not reproduce substantial parts of it in your own published or commercial materials
  • You may not use the guide, in whole or part, to train any machine learning system

Free diagnostic guides

Free guides are provided at no cost for personal and internal business use. The same restrictions on redistribution, resale and republication apply.

Results, and what we do not guarantee

Culinary guidance depends on the information you give us. A specialist works remotely and cannot taste your food, handle your ingredients or inspect your equipment, so the accuracy and completeness of what you describe directly affects what we can advise.

Results vary because ingredients, equipment, water, ambient conditions, batch size and execution vary between kitchens. We provide our services with reasonable skill and care, but we do not guarantee any specific culinary outcome.

We do not guarantee revenue, profitability, sales, customer reviews, regulatory or licensing approval, or any other business result.

You remain responsible for your own kitchen operations, ingredient sourcing and handling, food safety, hygiene, allergen management, labelling, and compliance with the laws and regulations that apply where you operate.

Material you send us

You may send us recipes, photographs, video, business information or other material so we can help you. By sending it, you confirm you have the right to do so.

You keep ownership of what you send. Sending material to SUVAIRA does not transfer ownership to us. We use it only as reasonably necessary to provide the service you have asked for, and handle it in line with our Privacy Policy.

Intellectual property

The SUVAIRA name, logo, website content, Master Guides and written culinary material are owned by SUVAIRA and protected by copyright and other rights.

This does not affect your own pre-existing recipes, brand assets, know-how or confidential information, which remain yours.

Where a project produces custom deliverables, ownership and permitted use of those deliverables are set out in the project agreement rather than by these terms.

Payment and currency

All prices on this site are in Canadian dollars (CAD) and shown as CA$. Guide and consultation prices are shown before you pay. Project fees are quoted per project before work begins.

Payments are processed by Stripe. SUVAIRA does not receive or store your full card details. Your bank or card issuer may apply its own currency conversion or fees, which are outside our control.

Third-party services

We rely on third-party providers to operate: Vercel for website hosting, Stripe for payment processing, Supabase for private file storage, Resend for transactional email, and Zoom for consultation sessions.

These services are operated by those companies, not by us. We do not control their availability and are not responsible for interruptions or changes to them, though we will act reasonably to deliver what you have paid for if a provider fails.

Accounts and access

SUVAIRA does not currently offer customer accounts, dashboards or a stored personal library. Guides are delivered by secure, time-limited download link.

If a link expires before you have saved your file, contact help@suvaira.com and we will issue a new one.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the site, attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of it, interfere with its security, or use automated systems to extract content from it.

Limitation of liability

We provide our services with reasonable skill and care. We do not exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Beyond that, the extent of our liability is governed by applicable law and by any specific terms agreed in a project agreement.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the applicable federal laws of Canada.

If you are a consumer outside Ontario, this does not remove or reduce mandatory consumer protections that apply to you under the law of your own country, province or state.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last revised. The terms in force at the time of your purchase apply to that purchase.
